The Club are delighted to confirm that Barry McColgan has been appointed as the permanent manager of Saint Anthony’s FC following a seven-game spell in charge at the end of last season.
During that period, Barry guided the team to three victories and nine points, helping lift us off the foot of the table and finishing level on points with 14th-placed Lugar Boswell Thistle.
Since taking the McKenna Park hotseat, Barry and his backroom team have worked tirelessly both on and off the park to improve the squad and lay the foundations for the season ahead. The commitment, positivity and hard work they have brought to the Club has been clear for everyone to see, and we believe we now have a group capable of making a real impact in the WoSFL Third Division.
Our pre-season fixtures will be announced shortly as preparations continue to build towards the new campaign, which gets underway on Saturday 25th July.
