   Saint Anthony's 1 v 2 Glencairn

Former Ants Star David Dickson got Glens level with a stunning free kick then a late strike by substitute Miller deprived the Ants of at least a deserved point.

Ants started well facing a gale force wind and driving rain and Mulheron failed to connect properly when facing goal. Mansare then sliced wide from 10 yards from a surging run and cross from Miller. Glens first real opportunity came in 20 minutes when Chris Paul outjumped the Ants defence but headed over. Ants continued to push forward and got the opening goal 8 minutes later when Mulheron found Harvey with a clever pass, the striker waltzed past a defender and sent McMullan through on goal who shot past the helpless Brown from 12 yards. The visitors came back strongly and Turner produced two fine saves from Dickson then Gallagher. Henderson should have put the Ants further in front minutes from the interval when another fine run and cross from Miller saw him miss-kick in front of goal.

Half Time - Saint Anthony's 1 v 0 Glencairn

Glens got a weather break with a dramatic change in conditions, the rain continued but the gale force wind had blown itself out but it was the Ants who again should have increased their lead when a neat move between Miller and Callaghan saw the latter set up McMullan, but he shot straight at Brown. Glens began to step up the pace and Turner produced a great save from Craig. With 70 minutes gone The Ants won a free kick, Mansare tried to take it quick hit a glens player who was less than 5 yards away he again tried to clear it hit the same player and rebounded to Craig who was tackled fairly by McDonald, However Referee Ross awarded a free kick 20 yards out. Up stepped Dickson who sent a superb shot into the top left hand corner beyond the outstretched arms of Turner. Just when it seemed a draw was the likely outcome Saints lost possession left of the halfway line and with the Ants defence slow to retreat the ball fell to Miller who tapped home from 6 yards. The final few minutes saw the home side force a series of crosses that didnt test Brown in the Glens goal. However deep into injury time Miller raced into the box and was clearly held back as he headed goal-wards and was also caught by a flailing boot but Mr Ross admitted he was unsighted, waved play on much to the disgust of the protesting Ants players
