   Dunipace 0 v 1Saint Anthony's

Four wins and a draw in their last five games have pushed Saints into mid-table but they had to battle all the way against a Dunipace side who played some decent football but lacked the will or technique to break through a stubborn Ants defence superbly marshalled by Captain Ronnie McDonald

Saints enjoyed the early pressure but Callaghan was only inches away from connecting to a Ford corner, Ford and Williams then combined to see the latters shot flash past the post. Dunipace had their first goal attempt in the 17th minute but Turner held easily. The Ants took a deserved lead when a Williams cross to the back post was chipped back across by Callaghan onto the head of Mulheron who headed into the empty net. Mansare should have added a second when minutes later he somehow blasted over from 3 yards. Ford then watched a net-bound shot be deflected for a corner that left to nothing. The home side created 2 half chances just before the break but header's from 6 went nowhere.

Dunipace 0 v 1 Saint Anthony's

The second period was a similar affair with Saints always the more dangerous in attack, A superb run by Williams was ended by 4's last gasp tackle at the edge of the box. Mulligan provided similar cover for the Ants with a superb challenge as 7 tried to race clear. More intelligent play by Williams and Ford saw Williams find the head of Mulheron who's attempt was blocked on the goal-line by the back of the 'keepers hand. McDonald then produced another fine tackle on 9. Williams, Mulheron and Callaghan all had chances saved while Turner had only one save when he held well from a long range effort by 8. 16 then came close with a header that whistled past the post
